The Honda Elevate facelift launched on 6 October 2026 at ₹11.80 lakh ex-showroom, and it is a bigger upgrade inside than outside. Our Short, posted before the launch, promised a bold new look and new alloy wheels. The launch confirmed the new grille, light signatures and a long list of added features, but the alloy wheels are carried over unchanged. Here is everything that is confirmed about the Honda Elevate facelift: prices by variant, what changed, what did not, and whether it beats buying the outgoing model on discount.

Honda Elevate facelift at a glance
- Launched: 6 October 2026. Pre-bookings opened on 1 October with a ₹21,000 token at dealerships.
- Price: from ₹11.80 lakh to ₹18.40 lakh ex-showroom, per Autocar India.
- Engine: unchanged 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 121 hp and 145 Nm, with a 6-speed manual or a CVT.
- Claimed mileage: 15.31 km/l (manual) and 16.61 km/l (CVT), ARAI.
- New trim: ZX+, plus a ZX+ Black special edition.
Honda Elevate facelift prices by variant
These ex-showroom prices come from Autocar India’s launch report. Ex-showroom is before registration, insurance and other charges, so your on-road price will be higher and varies by city.
| Variant | Manual (₹ lakh) | CVT (₹ lakh) |
|---|---|---|
| SV | 11.80 | Not offered |
| V | 12.29 | 13.79 |
| VX | 13.93 | 15.39 |
| ZX | 15.39 | 16.89 |
| ZX+ (new) | 16.80 | 18.30 |
| ZX+ Black (new) | 16.90 | 18.40 |
The entry price is unchanged at ₹11.80 lakh. The old Elevate range ran from about ₹11.81 lakh to ₹16.36 lakh, so the new top trims cost roughly ₹2 lakh more than the old top. Most of that jump comes from the new ZX+ trim, which is where the extra equipment sits.
What changed outside
The changes are real but modest. Autocar India lists a segmented LED daytime-running strip above the grille, a new grille with a gloss-black finish, body-coloured fog-lamp housings, and the Honda logo moved from the grille to the leading edge of the bonnet. At the rear, a new LED light bar connects the tail-lamps. The black cladding is now gloss instead of matte, and there is a new colour, Nordic Forest Pearl, in monotone and dual-tone. The headlights and the alloy wheels carry over from the old car.
What changed inside, and the new features
The cabin is where Honda spent the money. The dashboard gets white leatherette padding and stitching, replacing the faux wood, and higher trims get factory ambient lighting. The feature additions listed at launch are:
- Rear-seat ventilation, which Honda calls a first in the segment.
- Powered and ventilated front seats.
- A 360-degree camera and front parking sensors.
- Capacitive-touch rear reading lamps.
- An electronic parking brake with auto-hold, on the CVT only.
- Adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow under Honda Sensing, on the CVT only.
- Rear disc brakes.
Carried over are the 10.25-inch touchscreen, the semi-digital instrument cluster, the single-pane sunroof, the LaneWatch camera, six airbags and the wireless charger. Honda also claims better sound insulation, but Autocar India notes that this is unverified until the car is tested.
Engine and mileage: nothing new
Mechanically the car is untouched. The 1.5-litre petrol makes 121 hp and 145 Nm, and you can choose a 6-speed manual or a CVT. Some outlets quote 119 bhp, but Autocar India’s 121 hp is the figure to use. There is no hybrid on the Elevate, because the strong-hybrid system is only offered on the City. The ARAI-claimed figures of 15.31 km/l and 16.61 km/l are test numbers, and real-world economy will be lower.
Honda Elevate facelift vs the rivals
Autocar India names the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq and Maruti Grand Vitara as the rivals. We have not found a variant-level comparison from a reliable source, so we are not claiming that the Elevate beats any of them. What can be said is that Honda is pitching features, especially rear-seat ventilation and ventilated front seats, against rivals that cost more for similar equipment. If you want a diesel or a turbo-petrol, the Elevate is not the car, because it has only the 1.5-litre petrol.
Should you buy the outgoing Elevate instead?
The outgoing car is on offer. Autocar India reported on 5 October that the old Elevate carries benefits of up to ₹2.35 lakh, valid until 31 October 2026, made up of up to ₹50,000 cash, up to ₹80,000 exchange, a small loyalty bonus and a corporate bonus. It is a combined maximum, and it varies by variant, city and stock. Some secondary reports say the biggest figure applies only to higher pre-facelift trims, but we have not verified that, so ask for the variant-wise sheet. If you do not care about rear ventilation or the 360-degree camera, a heavily discounted old car can make sense. If those features matter, the facelift is the only way to get them.
A note on our Short
Our Short said the facelift would arrive on 6 October with bookings at ₹21,000. Both turned out to be right. It also said India is the first market globally for the updated SUV. Honda is quoted to that effect by some outlets, but Autocar India’s own pre-booking report does not mention it, so we treat it as reported rather than confirmed. The Short’s description promised new alloy wheels, which the launch did not deliver: the alloys are unchanged. It also said “premium upholstery”, but the confirmed change is a white leatherette dashboard, not new seat upholstery. The title’s “Creta is dead” line was clickbait and we are not repeating it.
Should you buy the Honda Elevate facelift now?
Buy it if you want a petrol-only, comfort-focused family SUV, you like the idea of ventilated seats all round, and the ZX or ZX+ price makes sense against a Creta or Seltos quote. Pay attention to the CVT, because adaptive cruise and auto-hold come only with it.
Look elsewhere or wait if you want a diesel, a turbo engine or a hybrid, or if you can take the outgoing model with a large discount before 31 October. We have not driven the facelift, and this page uses Honda’s launch details and Autocar India’s reporting. We will update it after road tests and reviews come in. Honda Elevate facelift FAQs
What is the price of the Honda Elevate facelift?
It starts at ₹11.80 lakh ex-showroom for the SV manual and goes up to ₹18.40 lakh for the ZX+ Black CVT, according to Autocar India.
When did the Honda Elevate facelift launch in India?
It launched on 6 October 2026. Pre-bookings opened on 1 October with a ₹21,000 token at dealerships.
Does the Elevate facelift have new alloy wheels?
No. Autocar India says the alloy wheels are carried over from the pre-facelift car. The visible changes are the grille, the LED strip, the tail-lamp bar, the bonnet logo and the gloss-black cladding.
Does the Elevate facelift have a hybrid or diesel?
No. It uses the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 121 hp and 145 Nm, with a 6-speed manual or a CVT. The hybrid is available only on the Honda City.
What is the Honda Elevate facelift mileage?
The ARAI-claimed figures are 15.31 km/l for the manual and 16.61 km/l for the CVT. Real-world mileage will be lower.
The Elevate facelift is mainly a features and cabin upgrade, so buy it for the ventilated seats and the 360-degree camera, not for a new engine or new wheels.
