Honda discounts for October 2026 are headlined at up to ₹2.35 lakh, but that figure belongs to one car: the outgoing pre-facelift Honda Elevate in its top variants. The facelifted Honda City peaks at about ₹1.71 lakh, the third-generation Amaze at ₹66,800, and the new Elevate facelift gets far less. Our Short said “up to ₹2.35 lakh across its lineup”, which is wrong as phrased. This guide breaks down what each Honda model gets, how much of each headline is cash, and what to ask your dealer before you sign. These Honda discounts are valid until 31 October 2026, according to Autocar India, and vary by city and stock.

Honda discounts in October 2026 at a glance
- Outgoing Elevate (pre-facelift stock): up to ₹2.35 lakh, with ₹50,000 cash and ₹80,000 exchange at the top.
- City (facelift): up to ₹1.71 lakh, with ₹60,000 cash and ₹50,000 exchange.
- Amaze (third generation): up to ₹66,800.
- Validity: until 31 October 2026, per Autocar India. Other outlets say only “October”.
- All figures are maximums, ex-showroom, and subject to city, dealer and stock.
Honda discounts on the Elevate: outgoing stock vs the new facelift
The big number applies to the old car. Autocar India’s report of 5 October lists up to ₹50,000 cash, up to ₹80,000 exchange, up to ₹4,000 loyalty and ₹5,000 corporate, plus unquantified schemes, feature bundles and warranty packages. Autocar India notes that the itemised cash-type benefits add up to only about ₹1.39 lakh, and the rest comes from bundles and warranty. The Elevate facelift, which launched on 6 October, is a different matter. One outlet, Auto Punditz, lists up to ₹63,600 on it with no cash discount, and we found that figure in only one source. We cover the new car in our Honda Elevate facelift guide.
Variant by variant: where the money is
The headline is reserved for the top trims. Auto Punditz, a third-party site, publishes a variant table that is the closest we found to a per-trim sheet, and it is not an official Honda document. Its figures for the outgoing Elevate show how steeply the benefits fall:
| Outgoing Elevate variant | Maximum benefit (reported) |
|---|---|
| ZX and ZX ADV | About ₹2.35 lakh |
| V Apex | About ₹1.97 lakh |
| V IVR | About ₹1.73 lakh |
| VX | About ₹1.43 lakh |
| SV manual | About ₹42,700 |
V3Cars reported different numbers for the old stock, with a larger cash and exchange component and a total of up to ₹2.40 lakh, and no end date. The reports conflict, which is why every figure here is “up to” and should be confirmed in writing.
Honda City: the facelift’s offers
Autocar India reports up to ₹1.71 lakh on the facelifted City: up to ₹60,000 cash, up to ₹50,000 exchange, ₹4,000 loyalty and ₹5,000 corporate, with some other offers unquantified. Auto Punditz says the maximum applies only to the ZX and ZX+ trims, the SV gets about ₹1.22 lakh and the V about ₹1.41 lakh, and the e:HEV strong hybrid gets only about ₹15,000. If you want the hybrid, do not expect a large discount.
Honda Amaze
The third-generation Amaze gets up to ₹66,800, made up of up to ₹15,000 cash, up to ₹15,000 exchange, ₹4,000 loyalty, ₹3,000 corporate and an extended warranty, per Autocar India. Auto Punditz says only the ZX manual reaches the maximum, while the base V gets about ₹27,600 with no cash or exchange. The second-generation Amaze, sold as the Amaze S, is listed at up to ₹57,600 by both outlets.
How to read “up to” before you go to the dealer
These numbers stack several kinds of benefit, and most buyers will not qualify for all of them:
- Exchange bonus needs a car to trade in.
- Loyalty needs an existing Honda in your family.
- Corporate and self-employed benefits depend on your buyer category.
- Warranty and accessories such as a dashcam or a 360-degree camera are counted at their list price, not as cash.
On the outgoing Elevate ZX, only ₹50,000 of the ₹2.35 lakh is plain cash. Ask each dealer for the final on-road price, with and without exchange, and compare those numbers across Honda and rival brands.
A note on our Short
Our Short’s figures for the outgoing Elevate, the City and the Amaze match Autocar India’s report. The description’s wording “up to ₹2.35 lakh across its lineup” is wrong, because that peak is for the Elevate alone, the City tops out at ₹1.71 lakh and the Amaze at ₹66,800. It also did not say that the ₹2.35 lakh is for the old pre-facelift stock and includes warranty and accessories. The title’s “Creta is dead” line is clickbait, and no source supports it. The Short mentioned the Hyundai Creta and Skoda Slavia as alternatives, which is a buying question and not a measure of the discount.
Should you use Honda discounts this month?
Buy now if you want the outgoing Elevate ZX or ZX ADV, you have a car to exchange, and a dealer confirms the benefits in writing before 31 October. At that point the stacked benefits are worth real money. Look at the new Elevate if you want rear-seat ventilation and the added features, but do not expect the old car’s discount.
We have not tested these cars for this story. This page is based on published offer reports, and offers change, so we will update it when the November schemes appear. For more, see car news, watch the Short in our Shorts feed, and compare with the Maruti Nexa discounts for this month. Variant-level numbers come from Auto Punditz, which is a third-party site.
Honda discounts FAQs
How much discount is there on the Honda Elevate in October 2026?
Up to ₹2.35 lakh on the outgoing pre-facelift Elevate, valid until 31 October, with ₹50,000 cash and ₹80,000 exchange at most. The new facelift gets far less, reportedly about ₹63,600 in one source.
How much discount is there on the Honda City in October 2026?
Up to about ₹1.71 lakh on the facelifted City, reaching the maximum only on the ZX and ZX+ trims. The e:HEV hybrid gets only about ₹15,000.
How much discount is there on the Honda Amaze in October 2026?
Up to ₹66,800 on the third-generation Amaze, and up to ₹57,600 on the second-generation Amaze S, per Autocar India.
Until when are the Honda offers valid?
Autocar India says until 31 October 2026. Other outlets say only October, and offers vary by city and stock.
Is the discount all cash?
No. It combines cash, exchange, loyalty, corporate benefits, warranty and accessories. On the outgoing Elevate ZX, cash is only ₹50,000 of the headline.
Honda’s headline of ₹2.35 lakh is a ceiling for one old-stock Elevate trim, so ask for a written on-road quote before you decide.
